The TV Shield™ is engineered to be a weather resistant outdoor tv enclosure thats is light, durable, secure and affordable. First all areas that may open are lined with a water resistant seal, sealing out the elements including water. Marine grade, aluminum vents are provided on both sides of The TV Shield™ to allow proper air flow, as well as venting of any heat built up or thrown off from the TV. The bottom of The TV Shield™ has a custom designed cord “pass through”, which seals around the cords, further enhancing the water resistance.
The front clear window is then locked down with two chambered key locks as well as 6 custom made black oxide threaded caps to completely secure the front panel onto the specially designed weather resistant seal which further locks out any rain or dust and completely encloses your TV. This allows the TV to handle large amounts of water or rain and does not allow anything inside. In our testing we took a pressurized water hose and sprayed water directly at the TV’s seals and nothing got through, not one drop, not even after 60minutes. The whole purpose of The TV Shield™ is peace of mind and with our direct water testing it passed 100%. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
